Bottle Episode

'Bottle Episodes' are a TV staple. For reasons normally due to monetary constraints, every season (yeah an Americanism, suck it) of TV will include a bottle episode. You've all seen them. What for instance do these episode of TV have in common?

• Homicide: Life On The Streets, “Three Men And Adena” (1993)
• Firefly, “Out Of Gas” (2002)
• Doctor Who, “Midnight” (2008)
• That Eastenders with Den and Angie. (who the fuck knows).

Bottle episodes place all or the vast majority of the action in a single location, locking all of the characters in a 'bottle'. yeah, it's that simple.
